About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Development Manager - Strategic Partnerships to join our team at Simply Energy. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving the strategic alignment, identification, onboarding, and execution of partner opportunities to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Growth of Existing Partnerships: Develop and maintain long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with our existing partners to drive sustainable business outcomes.
  • Delivery of Quality Customers: Identify and onboard new partners to deliver high-quality customers and drive business growth.
  • Improved Customer Experience: Enhance customer experience across all sales channels by ensuring quality sales interactions and compliance.
  • Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a pipeline of opportunities for ongoing evaluation and new business generation.
  • New Business Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to meet business needs.
  • Partnership Contract Negotiation: Represent Simply Energy in negotiating key partnership contracts and promoting our products.
About You
  • Sales Management Experience: Proven experience in sales management, including strategic partnership management and new partner development.
  • Leadership Skills: Self-motivated, achievement-oriented, well-disciplined, and task-focused, with a strong sense of timeliness and ability to encourage these characteristics in others.
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills to build and maintain effective partnerships.
  • Sales Strategy Execution: Ability to prepare a sales strategy and execute it successfully.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent presentation and communication skills, both in person and via video.
