Occupational Therapy Clinical Expert

A highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist is required to provide clinical leadership in Assistive Technology. The successful candidate will support therapists across SA through mentoring, consultation, and clinical guidance in AT assessment, prescription, and implementation.

About the Role
  • Provide expert clinical leadership in Assistive Technology (AT), including mobility equipment, communication devices, and environmental control systems.
  • Mentor and guide Occupational Therapists across SA in AT best practice, aligned with NDIS processes and prescription pathways.
  • Promote high-quality client-centered care by maintaining a clinical caseload and contributing to continuous improvement of AT services.
Requirements
  • Relevant bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years' experience as an Occupational Therapist, preferably in AT service delivery.
  • Specialist knowledge in Assistive Technology, including its application in disability, health, and aged care sectors.
  • Proven ability to deliver occupational therapy directly to clients as part of an independent caseload.
  • Experience supervising, coaching, and mentoring Occupational Therapists.
