The OpportunityYou will operate as a fieldwork leader to assist clients in employing proper information systems, resources, and controls to maximize efficiencies and minimize risk.
As an Information Technology Risk Advisor, you will work with client personnel to analyze, evaluate, and enhance information systems facilitating the business internal control process.
You will be able to learn from and assist clients and other Assurance and Technology Risk professionals in performing information technology control engagements.
This role is based in various locations around Australia, including Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Perth, or Sydney.
Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate as a fieldwork leader to assist clients in employing proper information systems, resources, and controls to maximize efficiencies and minimize risk.
A Bachelor or Master's degree qualification in finance, business, accounting, IT or related discipline is required.
Professional accreditations and qualifications such as CPA, CISA, CA, CIA, CISM, CISSP, CBCP, CIPP are also considered favorably.
Ideal candidates will possess skills and attributes that include a passion for emerging technologies and working within a team to advise clients on how to manage IT risks and accelerate performance.
They should have the ability to inspire teamwork and responsibility with engagement team members and use current technology, project management skills, and tools to enhance the effectiveness of deliverables and services.
Additionally, they should be able to use knowledge of the current IT environment and industry IT trends to identify the engagement and client service issues and communicate this information to the engagement team and client management through written correspondence and verbal presentations.
