Strategic Quality and Clinical Governance Advisor
Job Description:This role requires a highly skilled professional with expertise in quality and clinical governance matters. As a Strategic Quality and Clinical Governance Advisor, you will serve as a strategic advisor to clinical and operational teams, building strong collaborative relationships while providing expert guidance on quality and governance matters.
You will take responsibility for implementing initiatives that enhance the care delivered by our organization, ultimately improving the experience of our clients.
Through your partnership approach, you will actively mentor and coach staff members on best practices, particularly following incidents or complaints, ensuring continuous improvement in care delivery standards and client outcomes.
The ideal candidate is an AHPRA registered healthcare professional with a degree in nursing or related field, complemented by substantial experience in healthcare or aged care settings.
You will demonstrate exceptional initiative in implementing quality improvement opportunities, while naturally fostering collaborative relationships across all levels of the organization.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing quality improvement initiatives
- Providing expert guidance on quality and governance matters
- Mentoring and coaching staff members on best practices
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Degree qualification in Nursing and/or relevant field
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a healthcare or comparable aged-care environment
- AHPRA registration
- National Police Clearance
- Unrestricted C-Class Drivers Licence
