**Clinical and Quality Advisor**:

- Provide expert advice and practical support to ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centred clinical care
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, compliance and clinical safety while supporting management teams.
- Supporting organisational preparedness and engagement with the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, compliance with regulatory requirements and effective implementation of initiatives that enhance resident and client outcomes

**About The Society of Saint Hilarion**:
The Society of Saint Hilarion Inc Aged Care is a not for profit organisation with over 30 years experience providing Residential Aged Care services across two sites and Home Care and Community programs.

**Position Overview**:
The Clinical and Quality Advisor plays a critical role in supporting our Executive Leadership and Management teams. Reporting directly to the Chief of Operations (COO), this position requires a strong focus on compliance, safety, and continuous improvement across the organisation.

In this role, you will provide expert advice and practical support on quality and compliance matters, ensuring that our services meet the highest standards and adhere to all regulatory requirements.
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards, accreditation processes, and relevant regulatory requirements, including Mandatory Quality Indicators, SIRS, and compliance reporting
- Demonstrated ability to lead and conduct internal audits, identify compliance gaps, and implement solutions to drive continuous improvement
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex clinical and compliance data, identify risks, and implement effective corrective actions
- Proven experience in coaching and mentoring nursing and clinical staff, building team capability to ensure practices align with clinical governance and corporate governance frameworks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively with staff at all levels, residents, families, and external stakeholders, fostering a respectful and improvement-focused culture
- Current National Criminal Screening Check
