This full-time role offers a competitive salary package of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.



Job Description

As a Senior Branch Manager, you'll play a pivotal leadership role within our Community Bank BDCU team. You'll be responsible for building and executing an effective strategic plan for your area across multiple customer channels. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Reading and interpreting financial reports to effectively manage branch costs and income to achieve operating profit growth
  • Collaborating with branch leaders to establish an effective sales operating rhythm to achieve set targets and grow business performance
  • Leading and growing the residential and personal lending portfolio
  • Establishing and nurturing business networks to build the profile of Community Bank BDCU in the local community and create an effective referrer network
  • Listening and learning from formal and informal customer feedback to continue to build and improve our connection with our customers
  • Embedding operational and risk management practices through regular and clear communication on requirements


About You

We're looking for a proven banking and leadership expert with experience in setting strategic business direction and delivering on growth plans. You should have a strong understanding of financial management, business acumen, and risk framework. Additionally, you should possess:

  • Proven sales and lending leadership through implementing strategy to drive business
  • Strong relationship management with ability to effectively network and engage with your community and partners
  • Strong people leadership with the ability to develop, coach, and manage staff performance
  • Effective and influential presentation and public speaking skills
  • Ability to analyse and understand financial reports and statements
