About the Role

Ventia is seeking a dynamic Food and Beverage Operations Manager to join our Defence Base Services contract at RAAF Base Tindal, NT. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in guiding and supporting a strong food and beverage team to achieve excellence in service standards.

The successful candidate will be a seasoned and successful customer service / client-facing professional with a passion for engaging people, their hearts, and minds, and committed to operating safely. They will have a proven track record of leading from the front and driving results-oriented teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the ongoing training and rosters of staff, ensuring they are equipped to deliver exceptional service to our customers.
  • Co-ordinate the monthly bar & beverage stocktake, complete reports accurately & submit as per the end of month time schedule/calendar issued.
  • Control, monitor & complete weekly rosters, in conjunction with F&B Staff ensure these rosters fall within budgetary constraint & contractual requirements.
  • Attend & conduct regular pre-starts to ensure a smooth operation and address any concerns or issues that may arise.
  • Input of all meal pass data into actual/forecast spreadsheet in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that messes are completing the buffet compliance & all toolboxes etc are uploaded into IMS.

What You Will Need

  • Strong planning and organisational skills and proven experience in collaborative and consultative processes at a professional level.
  • Proven experience of working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Food Safety for Supervisors certification (training provided by employer) desirable.
  • Sound knowledge of Food Safety Standards, relevant legislation, and statutory obligations.
  • Enthusiasm and commitment to high standards of customer service.

Remuneration

The remuneration package includes a salary of approximately $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
