Job Overview:

The position of Emergency Medical Specialist is available in a dynamic environment.

This role requires the individual to maintain operational readiness, manage clinical presentations and medical emergencies, and ensure coordinated medical management.

About the Role:
  • Maintaining operational readiness;
  • Managing clinical presentations, medical emergencies and injury management;
  • Liaising with health advisors and operational Leaders to ensure medical / clinical management requirements are coordinated;
  • Assisting with site security access systems, and front of house duties including drug and alcohol testing;
  • Medical surveillance and follow up
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement operational readiness strategies;
  2. Manage and coordinate medical emergency responses;
  3. Foster collaboration among health advisors and operational Leaders to achieve coordinated medical management;
  4. Support site security access systems and front of house duties;
  5. Monitor and conduct medical surveillance and follow-up activities
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Paramedical Science or Diploma in Paramedical Science
  • Registration with AHPRA
  • Current Australian Drivers Licence
  • Previous exposure to Health, Safety and Environmental protocols and emergency management with paramedical care;
  • Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
