We are seeking an experienced Coal Mining Emergency Response Specialist to join our team at Oaky Creek North Mine.

As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sustainable systems to manage emergency response capability and associated activities effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing sustainable systems for emergency response
  • Conducting audits and rectification work to ensure compliance
  • Maintaining emergency response equipment and scheduling training and exercises
  • Building stakeholder relationships to ensure integration of emergency services standards
  • Ensuring adequate numbers of competent Mines Rescue Team Members are available to the mine site

About You:

We hire for attitude and train for skill. We look for people who are adaptable, self-driven, and think critically. The successful candidate will have a Certificate IV in Underground Coal Mining (3rd Class Deputies Ticket), a comprehensive understanding of the Coal Mining Safety and Health Act 1999 & Regulation 2017, and applicable Australian Standards.
