Are you looking for a role that combines customer service skills with fashion expertise? We are seeking a Hub Assistant to join our team.

The Thread Together program provides good quality, new clothing to people in Western Australia who are experiencing financial difficulty. As a Hub Assistant, you will support the day-to-day delivery of the Thread Together Clothing Hub and operate the mobile wardrobe van at community events.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality customer service, building rapport with customers, and providing excellent communication skills. You will also assist with stock control, creative merchandising, and other administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with customers
  • Assist with stock control, including receiving, storing, and issuing stock
  • Support creative merchandising initiatives to showcase products in an attractive and appealing manner
  • Provide administrative support, including data entry, filing, and reporting
  • Operate the mobile wardrobe van at community events
  • Collaborate with volunteers and other team members to achieve program goals
Requirements:
  • Experience in customer-facing roles or retail environments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft software packages
  • Good time management and administration skills
  • Clear drivers licence to operate a van
