About the Role

As a key member of our culinary team, you'll be responsible for running the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, planning and designing menus that meet our financial goals and exceed our guests' expectations. You'll work closely with our chefs and kitchen staff to ensure that every dish that leaves our kitchen is of the highest quality and presented with flair.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the highest standards of food safety and hygiene in the kitchen, adhering to our HACCP principles and local guidelines.
  • Prepare, produce, and present all foods to the highest standards, consistently meeting our food hygiene and health and safety standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest culinary trends and techniques, always looking for ways to improve our menu offerings and guest experiences.
  • Work collaboratively with our kitchen team to minimize food waste and optimize our inventory management.
  • Provide exceptional guest service, ensuring that every guest leaves our restaurant feeling satisfied and eager to return.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Relevant trade qualifications in culinary arts or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a hotel or resort kitchen environment.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • An adaptive mindset and a vision for delivering high-quality products.
  • The ability to work a flexible roster, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
