General Sales Manager

We are seeking an experienced General Sales Manager to join our team at Werribee & Western Automotive Group. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and profitability across our new and used car departments.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve department targets and maximize gross profit.
- Lead and manage a high-performing sales team, providing coaching and training to ensure exceptional customer service and sales results.
- Collaborate with marketing and other departments to optimize online listings, advertising, and sales processes.
- Manage stock levels, purchasing, and valuation to ensure optimal inventory levels and minimize losses.
- Work closely with the leadership group to set sales targets and gross profit targets, and develop strategies to achieve them.
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in managing high-performing sales teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
- Proficient in using Autogate and lead management tools, with experience in managing online sales and marketing.
- Dealership experience is essential, with a minimum of 2 years sales management experience.
