Our client is a leading entrepreneurial contractor specializing in delivering high-quality commercial offices, retail, and hospitality fitout projects.

Job Overview

This is an excellent opportunity to join a contractor with a strong reputation for delivering complex projects. We are seeking a hands-on Project Manager with a sound technical knowledge who is as comfortable working on site as they are in the office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage offices, retail, and hospitality refurb and fit-out projects from inception to completion.
  • Forecast and manage project budgets to ensure timely delivery and profitability.
  • Ensure quality process and delivery across all projects, maintaining high standards of workmanship and attention to detail.
  • Manage RFI's to clients, architects, and consultants, ensuring prompt and effective communication.
  • Procure materials and services, including scope of works and tender packages, to meet project requirements.
Requirements
  • A track record in delivering fitout projects up to $5m, with a strong focus on budget management and quality control.
  • Ability to manage a programme and schedule, sequencing trades to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Experience in project management software, such as Hammertech or Procore.
  • First-class stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, architects, and consultants.
  • A trade or tertiary qualification in construction, with a strong understanding of building codes and regulations.
