We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Director to lead the delivery of the New Women and Babies Hospital Project (NWBHP) procurement, commercial, legal, and contract management aspects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the project is delivered to the approved scope, budget, and timeframe, in accordance with Government policy and to the highest standards of project governance and project management.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a multi-functional team responsible for ensuring compliance with the contractual deliverables.
- Collaborate with senior agency representatives from the Department of Health, Health Service Providers, and other agencies to ensure all stakeholders are informed and involved in reaching project delivery.
- Coordinate and manage a number of State Advisors in various areas, including engineering, facility management, statutory planning, and environmental sustainability.
- Review and endorse the Managing Contractor's various Plans and Sub-Plans, including the Construction Management Sub Plan and Materials Management Sub Plan.
We are looking for a dynamic, self-aware, and resilient individual who achieves results and identifies opportunities for the Department to leverage. You will be a well-rounded leader and effective manager of project teams and work groups, with the ability to monitor and ensure compliance with government, agency, and public sector policy and process.
