Deputy Director Project Management Office

The Australian Department of Defence is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Director Project Management Office to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and complex environment, supporting the Henderson Consolidation Taskforce.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement project control practices and procedures to ensure effective project management.
- Provide expert advice and solutions for project and program monitoring and controlling, identifying risks and opportunities.
- Develop project and program briefs, reports, and documentation using a range of tools and techniques.
- Build and sustain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project outcomes.
- Motivate and mentor teams, aligning complementary skills and leveraging resources to deliver results.
- Assess and evaluate planning and scheduling activities against critical factors and recommend continuous improvement.
- Act as the Director PMO when required.
