Theatre Orderly Role

This role is responsible for maintaining a clean and secure environment within the theatre department, ensuring theatres are set up for surgical procedures, and safely transporting patients between wards.

  • Key duties:
    • Collaborate with clinical staff to maintain a high level of patient care.
    • Clean and manage waste disposal in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
    • Evaluate and report any issues or concerns related to theatre setup and equipment functionality.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in an operating theatre (essential).
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team and build strong relationships with colleagues and patients.
  • Availability to work a range of shifts across a 7-day rotating roster.
