Service Desk Team Lead CIO Services

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Service Desk Team Lead to oversee our interstate first level support team of Service Desk Analysts.
This role is responsible for ensuring exceptional service delivery to our Asia Pacific Staff, Program Teams, and Executive Leadership.
The selected candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the Service Desk team remotely and in person, training and mentoring service desk staff, collaborating with project managers on key initiatives, and handling tickets, requests, calls, webchats, and walk-ins as necessary.
The ideal candidate will have a mixture of technical and leadership experience within the service desk environment, with a comprehensive understanding of ITIL frameworks, knowledge of WIFI, VPN, software applications, and hardware, and experience with the M365 productivity tool suite.
The Service Desk Team Lead will be responsible for developing and enforcing service desk policies and best practices, managing the creation and update of Knowledge Base Articles, providing reports for business areas as required, reviewing trends and helping implement productivity gains, and performing asset management duties.
The successful candidate will be an Australian Citizen with the ability to hold and AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance at a minimum.
