We are seeking an experienced Lead Service Desk Engineer to join our Managed Services team in Canberra, Australia. This is a permanent position with a competitive salary of $130,000 per annum.
About the Role:
- Act as a technical escalation point for Service Desk Engineers, both locally and nationwide
- Lead, mentor, and train Level 1 and 2 Engineers
- Provide technical guidance and expertise across Cloud, EUC, Systems, Networking, and Infrastructure
- Maintain and improve operational documentation and processes
- Assist with projects where required
- Oversee the quality of service in accordance with SLAs
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in IT Support
- Proven experience leading/mentoring engineers
- Previous experience in an MSP environment is highly regarded
- Highly motivated for leadership
- Strong technical experience in M365 stack (O365, Teams, SharePoint, Intune)
- Previous experience working within Azure environments
- Experience managing and supporting VMWare or Hyper-V
- Experience with routers, switches, and firewalls (desirable)
- Industry certifications highly regarded
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
