Lead Service Desk Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Lead Service Desk Engineer to join our Managed Services team in Canberra, Australia. This is a permanent position with a competitive salary of $130,000 per annum.

About the Role:

  • Act as a technical escalation point for Service Desk Engineers, both locally and nationwide
  • Lead, mentor, and train Level 1 and 2 Engineers
  • Provide technical guidance and expertise across Cloud, EUC, Systems, Networking, and Infrastructure
  • Maintain and improve operational documentation and processes
  • Assist with projects where required
  • Oversee the quality of service in accordance with SLAs

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in IT Support
  • Proven experience leading/mentoring engineers
  • Previous experience in an MSP environment is highly regarded
  • Highly motivated for leadership
  • Strong technical experience in M365 stack (O365, Teams, SharePoint, Intune)
  • Previous experience working within Azure environments
  • Experience managing and supporting VMWare or Hyper-V
  • Experience with routers, switches, and firewalls (desirable)
  • Industry certifications highly regarded
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
