Job Description:

This position plays a vital role in facilitating unit operations by managing patient flow.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing basic medical assistant duties, ensuring seamless interactions with patients and healthcare staff.

  • Manage patient flow to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Assist with front desk duties, including scheduling patients, collecting and verifying payor information, and maintaining accurate patient documentation.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
  • Comply with all policies and standards, upholding the highest level of professionalism and integrity.
  • Adhere to guidelines for safely and securely maintaining Protected Health Information (PHI) for patients, participating in annual training and adhering to UH Code of Conduct and policies.
Key Skills and Qualifications:

Qualified candidates will possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Previous experience in medical assisting or a related field is highly desirable.
