Are you a skilled and dependable individual with a knack for organization? We are currently seeking a highly competent Senior Maintenance Hand to oversee our water supply and operational activities. This role is crucial in maintaining the health and welfare of our livestock and ensuring the smooth operation of our station.
As a key member of our team, you will report directly to the Operations Manager and take charge of our Bore and Maintenance crews. Your responsibilities will include:
- Independently operating company vehicles to inspect diesel and solar pumps.
- Monitoring troughs, tanks, and water sources.
- Conducting maintenance and repairs on various property assets, including plant, equipment, fencing, and infrastructure.
- Utilizing your keen observation skills to identify and report any issues regarding livestock, fences, and overall infrastructure.
Qualifications:
While specific experience in a similar role on a station is not mandatory, we welcome candidates with transferable skills from diverse industries. Ideal candidates will possess:
- A valid manual driver's license.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage positively with a variety of individuals.
- A high level of reliability and trustworthiness.
- A commitment to maintaining safety standards at all times.
