Loan Processing Officer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Loan Processing Officer to join our finance and accounting team.

About the Role:

You will play a vital part in processing loan applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations. Your responsibilities will include collecting and verifying required documentation from clients, reviewing and submitting documents, coordinating communication between lending institutions and internal teams, managing case progress, and handling customer inquiries promptly and professionally.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience and knowledge of loan securities, land titles, property legislation, and stamp duty legislation is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and innovative approach to delivering exceptional customer service
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively within tight time frames

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Desirable knowledge of the Consumer Credit Code and Banking Code of Practice
  • General understanding of loan securities and related processes
  • Experience in mortgage paralegal, conveyancer functions, or security documentation is preferred but not essential—training will be provided
