Food and Beverage Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food & Beverage Team Leader to join our leadership team at Novotel and Ibis Melbourne Central.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and supervise the food and beverage team during afternoon shifts, ensuring high standards of service and a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Oversee the set-up, service, and breakdown of dining areas, ensuring a seamless experience for our guests.
- Manage guest inquiries and feedback promptly and professionally, enhancing the overall guest experience.
- Ensure the proper handling and settlement of customer accounts using our POS system.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety throughout the outlets.
- Promote Novotel Ibis Melbourne Central by driving revenue and implementing strategies to improve service efficiency.
- Bring enthusiasm, creativity, and a positive attitude to the team, inspiring staff to do their best.
- Work closely with other departments to coordinate events and special functions as needed.
- Lead dinner operations and assist with conference and events when required.
- Assist in leading, mentoring and training the Food & Beverage Operations team.
- Supervise and delegate duties; Ensure brand standards are maintained.
- Liaise with kitchen to ensure the highest standard of food quality and visual appeal.
