Student Support Role

This is a student support position that requires the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

About the Position
  • Majarlin Administration: general office duties, financial management, data analysis, and supply ordering.
  • Campus Services: managing accommodation bookings, contractor scheduling, purchasing supplies, and customer service delivery.
  • Majarlin Student Support: assisting students upon arrival, arranging travel, building relationships, and improving service quality.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Office Management: maintaining office supplies, running errands, coordinating meetings, and planning events.
  2. Financial Operations: processing payments, creating purchase orders, balancing credit cards, and monitoring expenses.
  3. Data Management: working accurately with detailed information, including data entry, spreadsheet maintenance, correspondence management, and data collation.
  4. Vehicle Management: overseeing vehicle usage, regular servicing, and completing insurance claims.
  5. Accommodation Management: managing Kununurra accommodation bookings, liaising with contractors, and overseeing essential supply purchases.
  6. Customer Service: providing customer service, ensuring timely communication, and maintaining confidentiality.
  7. Student Support: assisting students upon arrival, guiding them through check-in and check-out procedures, and arranging travel for outreach trips.
  8. Relationship Building: building effective relationships with students, staff, and placement facilities.
  9. Database Management: liaising with learning institutions, maintaining databases, and collating data for reports.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
  • Qualifications: completion of a degree or advanced diploma qualification with relevant work experience.
  • Experience: experience in educational administration and/or student coordination.
  • Skills: demonstrated ability to work under pressure, effective time management, and planning skills.
  • Documentation: high-quality documentation preparation, operational, organisational, and administration skills.
  • Communication: excellent communication skills, relationship-building, and engagement with local contractors and external stakeholders.
