Operational Excellence Manager

The role involves driving operational excellence within Financial Crime Operations by leading change initiatives, enabling continuous improvement, and enhancing process efficiency and control effectiveness.

  • Responsible for managing and coordinating change initiatives across FCO, ensuring consistent project delivery, controls, effective communication, and alignment with business and risk objectives.
  • Collaborates with Technology teams to prioritize and deliver system and process enhancements that support operational resilience, automation, and risk control.
  • Drives process improvement initiatives focused on reducing administrative complexity, eliminating manual tasks, and enabling faster, more efficient decision-making.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Overseeing the implementation of key projects, ensuring outcomes meet both operational priorities and strategic objectives.
  2. Providing data-driven insights and forecasts by supporting analysis and reporting activities, delivering clear, actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
  3. Developing and maintaining high-quality reporting for the FCO Leadership Team, covering project pipelines, risk issues, control effectiveness, and performance metrics.
  4. Promoting data integrity and continuously improving the analyst experience through targeted system and process enhancements.
  5. Upholding the highest standards of integrity and confidentiality, particularly when managing sensitive information or investigations.
