Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Product Support Mining Excavators in Brisbane.

This position is based at our Wacol Office and involves reporting directly to the National Manager – Product Support Mining Excavators.

Key responsibilities include managing and supporting all technical issues within breakdown support, failure and root cause analysis. Additionally, you will be expected to communicate accurately and effectively with customers and deliver reliable improvement projects.

As the ideal candidate, you will possess a relevant mechanical trade or engineering tertiary qualification. You will also have significant experience in open cut mining, civil earthworks or other related industries.

High level analytical and problem solving skills are essential for this role, as is excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Safety Focus: Demonstrating a strong commitment to safety and adhering to HCMO Safety Policies and Procedures.
  • Technical Support: Managing and supporting all technical issues within breakdown support, failure and root cause analysis.
  • Customer Communication: Communicating accurately and effectively with customers and delivering reliable improvement projects.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Meeting and engaging professionally with various stakeholders to support complex technical analysis.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A relevant mechanical trade or engineering tertiary qualification.
  • Significant experience in open cut mining, civil earthworks or other related industries.
  • Proven understanding of key disciplines such as mechanical/electrical systems; schematics, drawings & manual interpretation.
  • High level analytical and problem solving skills to facilitate resolution of product and technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
