Job Opportunity:

Technical Solutions Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Technical Solutions Specialist to provide expert guidance and support in selecting, applying, and marketing mining equipment solutions for surface and hard rock underground operations.

  • Assist team members with machine selection, application strategies, and product marketing plans
  • Collaborate with Caterpillar specialists and Dealer Service Network for sales support and technical assistance
  • Identify and advise on suitable equipment applications using modeling tools
  • Maintain a current and comprehensive sales support library and associated database on Caterpillar and competitive machines
  • Conduct site assessments of mining equipment applications, compile detailed reports highlighting key aspects of mining operations, and suggest technology enhancements
  • Support tender/quotation preparation regarding equipment selection and locally installed options

About You:

  • Relevant experience in a similar role within the mining or heavy machinery industry
  • Knowledge of equipment application methodologies and fundamental understanding of relevant industry standards and regulations
  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Mining) or related industry experience
