Job Title: Procurement Specialist - Supply Chain Management
About the Role:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain management department, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process from sourcing to delivery.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics providers, to ensure that goods and services are delivered on time and within budget.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Sourcing: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to meet business requirements
- Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and prices with suppliers to achieve the best possible deals
- Procurement Planning: Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business objectives
- Supply Chain Risk Management: Identify and mitigate supply chain risks to minimize disruption to operations
In addition to your technical skills and experience, we are looking for someone who is a strong communicator, able to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels, and has a passion for delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 5+ years of experience in procurement or a related field
- Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proficiency in ERP systems, particularly Netsuite
