We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team and take on a key role in leading procurement activities for Battery Energy Storage Solution Projects in Australia. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is autonomous, pragmatic, and has experience working in a matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders.

The successful candidate will lead sourcing and procurement activities from the tendering phase through to project delivery and services. This requires strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise and develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement sourcing and procurement strategies to support tenders and project delivery.
  • Identify and develop new suppliers and contractors to enhance price, delivery, and quality.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external specialists to arrange technical specifications, scope of works, and performance requirements into procurement agreements.

This role also involves supporting the Sales/Tendering Deal team and effectively managing obtaining proposals from suppliers and subcontractors to meet tender timeframes and key deadlines.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 7 years of procurement experience in the power generation, renewable energy, utility, infrastructure, or oil and gas industry.
  • Strong ability to design, compile, and monitor a supply chain risk framework.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and demonstrate behaviors that promote employee safety and accountability.
