
Procurement Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, executing data-driven category initiatives and contributing to strategic procurement projects.
You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to assist with contract management and utilise data to improve performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.
This position requires a degree or diploma in Procurement & Supply Chain, Business, Commerce, Law or related discipline, along with 3 years' experience in contract administration, vendor management or procurement operations. A working knowledge of the Australian Modern Slavery Act and Fair-Work procurement clauses is also necessary.
Key responsibilities include performing category-level spend analysis, supporting RFQs/RFPs processes, drafting and administering contracts, and tracking contract milestones. You will also prepare reports and dashboards on supplier performance, costs and compliance.
- Perform category-level spend analysis, pricing benchmarks and total-cost-of-ownership (TCO) assessments to surface aggregation and savings opportunities.
- Support RFQs/RFPs processes by preparing documents, reviewing bids, coordinating with vendors and drafting recommendations.
- Draft, administer and control contracts, managing signature workflows and document versioning throughout the life-cycle.
- Track contract milestones, renewals and change requests, ensuring records are accurate within the contract-management system.
Additional requirements include familiarity with sustainability, ESG and modern-slavery compliance frameworks, as well as analytical and data proficiency, commercial and contract acumen, and problem-solving and negotiation abilities.
