Senior Casualty Underwriter

We are seeking an experienced Senior Casualty Underwriter to join our team in Sydney or Brisbane. As a key member of our underwriting team, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of large and complex liability risks.
Key Responsibilities- Underwrite and manage a portfolio of large and complex liability risks
- Mentor and develop less experienced staff
- Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers across Australia
- Drive production and revenue growth through profit-focused underwriting
To be successful in this role, you will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in public or products liability underwriting, with a proven track record of developing strong market relationships and technical competence in large liability risks.
You will be a proactive, commercially-minded individual with strong business acumen, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. You will also be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to adapt to changing priorities.
