Sponsorships Manager Job Description

We are seeking a strategic and driven professional to join our Client Marketing team. In this role, you will take ownership of sponsorships end-to-end—from identifying opportunities and negotiating contracts to delivering standout activations and reporting results.

About the Role:
  • Lead the identification, evaluation, and selection of strategic sponsorship opportunities aligned with brand goals.
  • Develop an annual sponsorship calendar in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Build business cases for sponsorships, including target audience insights, ROI projections, and cost analysis.
  • Negotiate sponsorship contracts to secure maximum value and brand visibility.
  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of sponsorships—from briefing and branding to event presence and stakeholder alignment.
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure messaging consistency across channels.
  • Develop post-event reports, measure performance, and recommend improvements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A marketing professional with 5+ years' experience in trade marketing, partnerships, or sponsorships.
  • Proven track record managing external sponsorships and activations that drive measurable outcomes.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to juggle multiple deadlines.
  • Skilled negotiator and communicator comfortable presenting to senior leaders and representing the business externally.
  • Able to balance stakeholder needs across sales, editorial, and brand teams.
  • Confident managing vendor relationships and live event logistics.
