Your New RoleAs a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will play a critical role in facilitating the recovery and rehabilitation of individuals who have experienced injury, illness, or disability. You will work closely with a variety of stakeholders, including clients, their families, insurance companies, employers, and other healthcare professionals to evaluate physical, psychological, and social factors and develop personalized rehabilitation plans that support a whole-of-person approach to rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement personalized rehabilitation plans that support a whole-of-person approach to rehabilitation
- Complete a range of assessments, including Functional Capacity Evaluations, Workplace Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, and Activities of Daily Living Assessments
- Use lateral thinking and forward planning skills to identify potential return to work pathways in line with likely recovery milestones
- Utilize problem-solving skills, clinical experience, and knowledge of injury management to perform assessments and facilitate the return to work of claimants
- Present case information to various stakeholders and provide credible recommendations/solutions to drive the desired goal
- A tertiary qualification in either Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, or Exercise Physiology
- Appropriate registration with AHPRA or ESSA/SIRA Accreditation
- Full Australian working rights
- Current driver's license and car
