Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of conditions, both physical and psychological.

The successful candidate will have a professional background in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling and will be able to apply their clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes. You will work collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs.

Your duties will include case management, completing a variety of assessments using your clinical skills, and assisting those with an injury or health condition to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of conditions
  • Apply clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes
  • Work collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals
  • Complete a variety of assessments using clinical skills
  • Assist those with an injury or health condition to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Health Sciences or Rehabilitation Counselling
  • General or Provisional registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency AHPRA as a Psychologist or eligibility for Associate or Full membership with Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors ASORC
  • Previous experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation industry highly regarded
