Lead Textile Designer

This position involves leading the design development process from concept to final artwork, ensuring that all designs align with our brand DNA and seasonal direction. We are looking for a highly skilled and trend-savvy textile designer who can bring creative vision, commercial acumen, and technical expertise to deliver textile designs that our customers love and that push the boundaries of innovation.

Key responsibilities include interpreting trend insights, creating original and commercially viable designs, and mentoring junior designers to elevate the overall creative output. Your ability to anticipate market shifts, balance creativity with business objectives, and deliver designs that excite and inspire will be key to your success.

What we're looking for:

  • Relevant degree or qualification in a related field, e.g., Textile Design, Graphic Design, Fashion Design.
  • Extensive experience in textile design, ideally within activewear, intimates, or lifestyle categories.
  • Proven ability to lead the design process from concept to delivery, balancing creativity with commercial needs.
  • Expertise in identifying and interpreting emerging fashion and lifestyle trends into innovative, brand-right designs.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and MS Excel.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities to guide and inspire junior designers.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
  • Exceptional organisation, planning, and problem-solving skills in a deadline-driven environment.
