
Rural Healthcare Operations Manager

This position is responsible for overseeing the operations of a healthcare organization outside of normal business hours. The After-Hours Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and quality of patient care during emergency situations.
">- Effective management of nursing staff and other personnel to deliver high-quality services
- Clinical support as required in various settings
- Responding to, investigating, and following up incident reports in a timely manner
- Identifying mandatory reporting requirements and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
- Managing roster shortfalls and ensuring compliance with Safe Patient Care Act 2015
- Managing emergency situations in a calm and efficient manner, ensuring the safety of all staff and consumers
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience in negotiating and resolving workplace conflicts in a professional and sensitive manner
- Demonstrated knowledge and commitment to quality improvement activities
- Ability to provide advanced clinical support and mentorship to the nursing team
- Leadership qualities and ability to supervise a team
