After Hours Coordinator Position

We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Registered Nurse to fill the role of After-Hours Coordinator. The primary responsibility is to oversee the operations of our health service outside of normal business hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively manage nursing staff and other personnel to ensure safe and high-quality service delivery across the organisation.
  • Clinical support as required in the Acute, Aged Care, and Urgent Care settings.
  • Respond to, investigate, and follow up incident reports in a timely manner.
  • Identify mandatory reporting requirements and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Manage clinical and non-clinical roster shortfalls across the organisation.
  • Support an organisational culture that reflects our values and behaviours.

Requirements:

  • Experience in negotiating and resolving workplace conflicts in a professional and sensitive manner.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and commitment towards quality improvement activities.
  • Current registration with AHPRA.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and ability to supervise a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide advanced clinical support and mentorship to nursing team.
