Social Worker/Case Manager

We are seeking experienced Social Workers, Case Managers, Senior Social Workers, and Senior Case Managers to join our team at the Department for Child Protection.
In this role, you will work with children and families to provide high-quality case management services, ensuring their safety, stability, and security.
You will work collaboratively with a team to respond to the needs of children and their families, applying your knowledge of child development, parenting, and family dynamics to make informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Provide case management services to children and families, including assessment, planning, and intervention.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key professionals, families, and communities.
- Apply culturally sensitive child protection practice to ensure the needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families are met.
- Work collaboratively with the team to achieve outcomes for children and families.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree level qualification in Social Work or a related field.
- Experience in child protection or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Knowledge of child development, parenting, and family dynamics.
The Department for Child Protection plays a key role in protecting children, young people, and their families in South Australia.
