">Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate support worker to join our team. As an Invigorate Social Groups Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care services that promote independence, health, and happiness for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely transport clients on group outings using a 12-seater bus.
  • Utilize computer skills for daily tasks and documentation.
  • Assist clients during outings and ensure a positive experience.
  • Build strong, supportive relationships with clients through effective communication.
  • Prepare and handle food safely for client meals.
  • Deliver engaging daily activities to enrich clients' lives.

Requirements:

  • A current Australian C Class Open Drivers Licence
  • National Police Check clearance allowing working unsupervised
  • A current first-aid certificate and CPR
  • COVID-19 vaccination status as per government guidelines
  • Certificate III or higher in Health Service Assistance/Individual Support/Aged Care/Community or a nursing degree student with completed aged care placement
  • Previous experience driving a 12-seater bus and comfortable travelling between locations
  • Previous employment experience in the aged care or community services industry
  • Basic computer skills and accurate documentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and report as required
  • Empathy, patience and understanding, a great sense of humour and a positive approach to aging
