Salary

We offer an attractive salary package for this role, with an estimated annual salary of AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we also provide a range of benefits to support your well-being and career progression.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Cost Estimator to join our Adelaide or Melbourne-based team. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for estimating costs for construction projects, ensuring that they are accurate and meet the requirements of our clients.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Estimating costs for construction projects, including labor, materials, and equipment;
  • Validating estimates against actual costs and identifying areas for improvement;
  • Liaising with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that cost estimates align with project objectives;
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field;
  • Proven experience as a cost estimator in the construction industry, with a track record of successfully managing budgets and delivering projects on time;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders;
  • Proficiency in using estimating software and other relevant tools.
