We are seeking a highly skilled Estimator to join our Precontracts team in Melbourne. As an Estimator, you will play a critical role in preparing and executing key tenders, working closely with Senior Estimators to achieve successful bids for our business.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Civil engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Construction Management.
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in construction cost planning, tendering, or project delivery on diverse tenders/projects across Infrastructure.
  • Multi-disciplinary estimating experience on projects over $20m.
  • Ability to lead a tender and work on multiple tenders concurrently.

You will be responsible for:

  • Preparing bids and tenders for various infrastructure projects.
  • Monitoring current competitive prices, new techniques, and cost trends.
  • Developing accurate estimates through first principles pricing of direct and indirect job costs.
  • Developing, training, and identifying improvements to the tendering systems.
