Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our global community initiatives. As a Community Engagement Director, you will oversee a team of regional and thematic Community Managers, setting the vision and direction for community engagement.

This role involves developing and implementing a global community strategy aligned with company goals and brand values. You will lead integrated programming, including member challenges, partnerships, and cross-channel marketing campaigns.

The ideal candidate brings a balance of high-level strategy and operational excellence, thriving in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a global community strategy that drives engagement and growth.
  • Lead and mentor a team of Community Managers, setting goals, guiding execution, and supporting skill growth.
  • Establish and maintain scalable systems and processes for community programming, reporting, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in community management, program strategy, or marketing, with 2+ years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Proven experience managing and scaling a team across regions or time zones.
  • Strong program management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple initiatives and prioritise effectively.
  • Deep understanding of online and offline community building, social media, and digital marketing channels.
  • Excellent communication and people skills, with a passion for collaboration and storytelling.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools and using data to guide decisions and measure impact.
