About the Community Outreach Position

The Community Liaison Team plays a vital role in fostering strong relationships between law enforcement and diverse, often vulnerable communities across Australia.

As a Community Outreach Specialist, you will assist in developing and implementing projects to meet the strategic objectives of the team.

You will develop project plans, stakeholder engagement strategies, and communication approaches. Explore opportunities to raise awareness of issues and trends relating to social cohesion challenges such as extremism, crime, and cultural misunderstandings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement community outreach strategies
  • Coordinate initiatives with internal and external stakeholders
  • Represent the organization in various community and governmental forums

This position is based in Sydney or Melbourne and offers a composite allowance in recognition of expanded working hours. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and self-driven, with excellent communication and organisational skills.
