About This Role

As a Community Outreach Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our organization's connections with the community, fostering awareness of our services, and building lasting relationships with clients, families, and partner organizations.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute outreach strategies that support growth and ensure our services remain responsive to community needs.
  • Build strong, meaningful connections with the community to increase awareness, participation, and trust in our services.
  • Collaborate closely with client services teams, including Aged Care Operations, Marketing, and Client Experience, to guarantee outreach initiatives align with our brand, values, and service capabilities.
  • Design, implement, and evaluate community outreach strategies that are inclusive, responsive, and reflective of diverse experiences and needs of older adults and their caregivers.

Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Community Development, Public Relations/Communications, Social Work, or related Health Sciences.
  • Experience in community outreach or engagement roles, including stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Proven presentation skills, including experience working with CALD groups, complex clients, and interpreters.
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate outreach outcomes.
  • High level of emotional intelligence and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
