Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Improvement Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for developing and implementing business improvement processes, driving plant-wide and department-specific projects, and leading our Lean Manufacturing Business Improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate exemplary leadership in safety, ensuring high standards are met
  • Design and deliver impactful, innovative projects that build workforce capability and effectiveness
  • Train and coach project team members in methodologies to complete efficiency projects
  • Ensure compliance with standardized processes, systems, and tools
  • Provide guidance and technical support for productivity enhancement
  • Maintain metrics, reporting standards, and integrate outcomes into planning
  • Engage with stakeholders at all levels to facilitate project success
Requirements:
  • Certifications and/or experience in Continuous Improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen)
  • Strong analytical skills to assess business needs and develop targeted, innovative solutions
  • A collaborative approach to partnering with leaders and employees at all levels
  • Industry experience preferably in Aluminium, heavy industrial, or operational environments
