LEAN Manufacturing Specialist Role

This role involves leading cross-functional business improvement projects to deliver measurable performance outcomes in cost, quality, and safety. You will mentor and train team members in LEAN principles, process mapping, and continuous improvement methodologies.

The Opportunity

You will lead hands-on initiatives focused on delivering sustainable improvements across multiple areas of operations.

  • Lead cross-functional business improvement projects to deliver measurable performance outcomes in cost, quality, and safety.
  • Mentor and train team members in LEAN principles, process mapping, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Coach operations staff and leaders to embed sustainable improvement practices.
  • Partner with Operations Managers to identify opportunities, develop ROI-based business cases, and manage project plans.
  • Facilitate workshops and capability-building sessions to uplift operational excellence.
  • Support change navigation and foster strong people connections across teams.
  • Promote a company-wide culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
  • Identify and support internal change agents and recognize improvement champions.
  • Maintain strong working relationships across Operations, Engineering, Projects, and HSEQ teams.
  • Recommend and implement business improvement tools and initiatives that drive ongoing engagement and results.

Key qualifications include trade qualifications or equivalent experience in a related field, LEAN Manufacturing qualifications, and demonstrated experience leading business improvement initiatives in an industrial environment.
