Research Opportunities
\We are seeking highly motivated and talented individuals to join our team as postdoctoral research associates. These positions are part of a joint project between the University of New South Wales and the Australian National University, with the goal of understanding the processes driving warm water intrusions onto the Antarctic continental shelf.
\Project Overview
\The successful candidates will be involved in researching the dynamics of warm water intrusions and their impact on the Antarctic environment. This will involve working closely with a team of experienced researchers to design and implement experiments, collect and analyze data, and draw conclusions based on the findings.
\Location and Duration
\The appointments will be located at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia, or the Australian National University in Canberra, Australia. The initial funding is for two years, with strong potential for an extension into a third year.
\About the Team
\Candidates will work alongside experienced researchers including Prof. Matthew England, Prof. Andy Hogg, Dr. Paul Spence, Dr. Adele Morrison, and Dr. Stephen Griffies. The team has a strong track record of producing high-quality research and has a reputation for excellence in the field of oceanography.
