The Secure Communications Systems (SCS) Program has been providing a mobile secure communications product suite to Australian and international government and Defence agencies for nearly a decade. This product suite allows remote access to multiple classified network domains over a redundant array of public and private network bearers and focuses on simplicity of operation for maximum accessibility to users.
We are looking for a **Program Manager** to lead various product streams within the SCS Program. Apart from the program delivery the Program Manager will be responsible or the product sales and program growth, product development, product support and be accountable for the P/L.
This is a permanent position based at our head office in Symonston, ACT.
**Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Provide overall Agile leadership to the SCS Program team.
- Influence program direction and outcomes through ongoing engagement with senior stakeholders and customers.
- Maintain oversight of the Product Development roadmap and ensure forward planning is in place.
- Empower teams to be creative, responsive and collaborative across all stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development of tender responses and proposals.
**Skills and Qualifications**:
- Proven leadership experience managing projects / program ideally with a product focus
- Good foundation of knowledge in project management (change management, engagement, communication, etc.)
- Would be nice if you have experience with Product Management and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
- Another nice to have is Defence knowledge and experience and management ASDEFCON contracts.
- Currently hold a Negative Vetting 1 security clearance, or have the ability to obtain and maintain.
