Unlocking Climate Secrets: Investigating Warm Water Intrusions on the Antarctic Continental Shelf

The Antarctic Continental Shelf is a critical region of interest for understanding global climate dynamics. The Postdoctoral Research Positions available in this project will focus on investigating the processes driving warm water intrusions onto the Antarctic continental shelf.
The research team, led by experienced scientists, aims to advance our understanding of these complex phenomena and contribute to the development of predictive models. Successful candidates will work closely with the team to analyze data, design experiments, and publish research findings.
The appointments are initially funded for two years, with potential for extension into a third year. Two positions are available: one at a leading university in Sydney and the other at a prominent institution in Canberra.
The successful candidate will be expected to possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication and collaboration abilities. A Ph.D. in a relevant field and prior experience in research are required. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
