The Sector Capability and Regulatory Strategy Division sets the strategic direction and guides the delivery of risk-based regulatory operations informed by high value intelligence, analysis and data.
The Data, Analytics and Intelligence Branch manages and analyses data from the aged care sector and regulatory activities to understand risks and performance for the purposes of prioritising and informing preventative and responsive risk treatments and regulatory decision making.
As the Strategic Intelligence Lead, you will lead a team responsible for the development, coordination and provision of high quality intelligence and analysis to inform strategic, operational and tactical planning and operations.
- Provide leadership to effectively manage the team consistent with statutory responsibilities and the strategic direction and operational policies of the organisation.
- Lead and coordinate the successful development of regulatory intelligence capabilities and products to support regulatory activity.
- Provide high level intelligence analysis on both complex and sensitive issues and identify opportunities, solutions and strategies to address contentious, long-term and emergent issues and provide expertise and counsel across the organisation.
- Establish and implement effective communication systems, both internal and external to the Commission to ensure stakeholders are consulted and to disseminate information as required.
- Deliver briefings and other documentation to clearly communicate findings of analysis to influence executive and committee decision making, particularly with regard to the strategic, operational and tactical direction of the Commission.
- Represent the Branch and Commission at meetings and forums to provide expert intelligence, analysis and advice on key regulatory issues.
