Job Opportunity for Insurance Expert
In our Brisbane office, we are seeking a qualified Solicitor or Senior Associate to join our Insurance Group.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our clients.

  • Provide legal advice on indemnity, liability, quantum and third party contribution to clients
  • Stay up-to-date with applicable case law and legislative changes
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to deliver timely, commercial and legally accurate advice
  • Represent clients in settlement conferences and mediations
  • Instruct counsel at court applications and trials
  • Manage a robust workload, prioritizing tasks and delivering services effectively
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders to achieve valued customer experience outcomes
  • Develop an understanding of client operations and strategy
  • Build and maintain relationships with prospective clients
  • Pursue ongoing professional development and manage MCLE requirements

About You:

  • 4+ years' PQE
  • A desire to be part of a cohesive and down-to-earth team
  • Excellent work ethic and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail, time management and organizational skills
  • A genuine commitment to customer experience
  • Previous exposure to Business Development and ability to build strong client relationships
  • Ability to manage client expectations and run matters autonomously
  • Interest in establishing a long-term successful career
  • Ability to relate to people at all levels and work effectively in a team
  • Commercial acumen
  • A strong, plain language communication style
  • Previous experience in managing workers' compensation common law claims highly desirable
